ABOUT ME

As a single, divorced mother, with two children I have successfully navigated through challenging transitions, including grief, loss, low self-esteem, abandonment, and lack of direction. These challenges have helped me harness positive life skills and coping mechanisms, which I have successfully applied into my own life and practice. Fear no longer comes to me like a  ‘thief in the night’ to rob me of my well being; I choose to make healthy choices by recognizing that my thoughts are my beliefs. By critically examining my thoughts, I am able to release and let go of the beliefs that don't serve me, enabling me to create healthier outcomes that better serve me and my loved ones. Today, I wake up enthusiastic and feel happy, healthy and eager to face my day! 

    

I have a mission to help others who are going through similar life challenges that I once faced. Consequently, I chose to complete my life skills, coaching and wellness counselling diploma from Rhodes Wellness College. I am a qualified registered professional counsellor with the CPCA (Canadian Professional Counsellors Association) I now help and support people to critically examine their lives, find a deeper meaning, to actively create balance and harmony within the four quadrants of wellness:  Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual.  I believe that by creating mindful practices and incorporating healthy rituals into your daily lives, you are taking the first step toward the creation of balance, and enabling both positive and consistent behaviors. 

 

It’s not only my coaching and counselling diploma that qualify me, but also my life experiences. The hardships that I have overcome have given me an innate and ingrained ability to create resiliency, resulting in long lasting positive changes, that I aspire to share with you!
